Customers should be aware that Airlan's wireless coverage maps are indicative only and have been created using tools that predict the possible coverage areas. Not every location within the identified coverage areas have been individually tested for coverage. This means whilst the footprint of coverage outlined on the maps is generally accurate, there will be specific areas described as being within a coverage area where a customer's device will not work.
This is a common characteristic of WiFi and other wireless systems. Coverage could be degraded or non existent in specific locations due to certain physical structures or geographic features. Physical structures which may block or degrade coverage could include basement units, underground locations, concrete buildings and locations with thick walls. Geographic features which may block, degrade or inhibit coverage could include formations such as hills and mountains or even trees.
Customers should also be aware that Airlan's wireless coverage maps also may indicate planned coverage expansions of Airlan's wireless network. Future planned coverage is based on Airlan's rollout schedule. Airlan reserves the right to modify this schedule without notice, as required from time to time.
All speeds are based on theoretical network maximum speeds. Actual speeds may be less due to a number of factors including network configuration, link quality and distance form access points, access point type, customer premises equipment, traffic, hardware, software, capacity and load of the access point/Hotspot, which WiFi standard you are currently using (802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11b/g, 802.11n), your hardware drivers, the source of your download and general internet traffic. The service is subject to network availability in the relevant area.
Airlan endeavours to improve and enhance its wireless network on a regular basis with as little as possible inconvenience for our customers.
